I've had a couple of atomic clocks and this one was the easiest to set up (1.install the batteries 2.put on self 3.wait for the clock to connect and synch - not sure how long this took; UPS delivered the clock when I got home from work, installed the batteries & when I got up the next morning, time, date was synch'ed). I personally would have liked more contrast on the clock face: the background is greenish and the numbers are not easy to see from across the room.

I had some trouble getting it set properly but once I understood how to set it everytheing was OK.

It was shipped the same day I ordered it and I received it two days later. Installed the batteries and did a manual setup and time set in about 1 minute. Very intuitive and easy. It takes a while to get the radio update but I am totally satisfied with the clock. Didn't give it 5 stars because I believe the instruction sheet needs a little work and it doesn't fully describe all the options and icons.

First, it's unclear from the description whether this is battery AND a/c powered. It's battery only, but only two "AA" cells. It is backlit but only briefly when you push the snooze bar. We intended it for the top of our dish satellite receiver but being an LCD and a dim area it was unreadable from about 5 feet away.

If you intend to use it in a well lit area it should be fine.

This jumbo clock was exactly what I was looking for. However after 24 hrs it did NOT set itself. I manually set it and it seems to be working well.

Very nice large display clock. Wish they had a wall clock version of this with large display. Little to the expensive side but worth it if you are looking for jumbo digits.

I was looking for an atomic clock that I could use as a bedside alarm clock. This seemed like it would be perfect. We have our electricity go out frequently and the clock I was using would constantly be flashing and would need to be reset. I like the look of the clock, however, I can't seem to get a signal in my house and I had to set it manually. It still works but not as I hoped it would.
